Dr Dave Drew has worked widely in the "Growth and Yield" space in forestry for over 25 years in South Africa, Australia and the USA. He has a B.Sc. Forestry degree from Stellenbosch University (Stellenbosch, South Africa), an M.Sc. degree from the University of Natal (Durban, South Africa) and a PhD in forest growth and wood formation modelling from Monash University (Melbourne Australia). He has been part of some great teams at fantastic institutions over the years, including the CSIR (South Africa), CSIRO (Australia) and Stellenbosch University (South Africa).
Dave's wife, Sherrin Drew, provides administrative support for Forest Forecasting. She is the person to talk to about accounts, quotes and anything financial. And her other job is being a Mum!
In addition to products and solutions delivered through a range of projects, Dave has published widely throughout his career in the area of forest growth, yield and wood properties assessment. Some of these papers are listed below. Please contact us if you'd like to obtain a copy of one of these publications!
